Hachi Takoyaki is the result of a passionate journey to bring the taste of authentic, street-style Japanese takoyaki to the hearts of food lovers everywhere. Lead chef and founder, Lineth, has traversed the far reaches of Asia, honing her culinary skills and discovering the delicious cuisines of the region. But it was the street food of Osaka that captured her heart and inspired her to perfect the art of takoyaki.
In 2023, she set her sights on Edmonton, Alberta, and opened the doors to Hachi Takoyaki, a food truck offering premium ingredients, unique flavor combinations, and the authentic taste of Osaka's streets.
